Mr. Donothing unlocks the healing power of everyday life with a gentle and humorous pace
This summer, PopCorn is bringing the popular South Korean illustration character "Mr. Donothing" to Hong Kong. The venue features 5 signature photo ops that combine illustration, fashion, and local creative power. This curated, therapeutic space invites busy urbanites to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and rediscover a long-lost sense of relaxation.
The event also features the "Do Nothing, Create Everything" costume design competition, organized in partnership with the Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI). Students from the Higher Diploma in Costume Design for Performance program participated in designing exclusive looks for Mr. Donothing. These outfits interpret the character's personality and story while injecting creative elements, showcasing the design power of the new generation as worn by Mr. Donothing himself.
A major highlight is the Pop-up Store, which brings nearly 50 popular merchandise items directly from Korea. The lineup includes blind box figures, trendy apparel, and limited-edition posters, collectible figurines, sweatshirts, and keychain charms making their debut in Hong Kong. Fans can take home the casual, humorous, and healing charm of Mr. Donothing.
